Woman sexually assaulted walking in Brampton neighbourhood

The public’s help is being requested to locate a person connected to a sexual assault investigation in Brampton late last month.

Peel Regional Police say a 27-year-old Brampton woman was walking near McLaughlin Road and Bovaird Drive on Monday, September 26, 2024, around midnight when an unknown man approached her asking for directions.

The woman was then sexually assaulted.

“The victim did not suffer any physical injuries,” said Peel police.

The suspect is described as having a slim build and light skin with a black receding hairline and unshaven face and is approximately 25-30 years old.

He is wearing a light-coloured Nike T-shirt and black shorts with a vertical white stripe. He also had sandals on.
