WinterFest Celebration brings free skating, music and more this weekend to Caledon

You can take in a day of free activities including skating, swimming, and family-friendly events this weekend at the annual WinterFest Celebration in Caledon.

This Sunday will mark Caledon’s 21-st annual WinterFest Celebration with residents invited to ring in the new year at the Mayfield Recreation Complex

“Enjoy an afternoon of free activities for the entire family, including skating, swimming, crafts, cookie decorating, a photobooth, face painting, and more,” the town says of the 2025 WinterFest.

The event starts at 1 p.m. with live music from Charlie Webb Trio and a special welcome from Caledon Mayor Annette Groves.

Refreshments and family-friendly activities will be available for guests and there will also be a winter themed indoor bubble show at 2:30 p.m. that promises “a magical performance for kids.”

The 21-st annual WinterFest Celebration runs on Jan. 5 at the Mayfield Recreation Complex located at 12087 Bramalea Rd.

Entry is free and the doors open at 1 p.m.
