The Winter Amenities Map is a digital tool designed to make finding outdoor activities easier. This expanded resource showcases the City’s array of winter offerings, allowing users to quickly locate and plan visits to enjoy Brampton’s seasonal highlights.
This season brings new updates and additions, including enhancements to the rink at Sesquicentennial Park and new dedicated outdoor shinny hockey and skating rinks at Major William Sharpe Park and Amore Italian Park. Everyone from beginners to seasoned skaters can enjoy these outdoor rinks. Also new this year is a tennis dome at Rosalea Park, opening in the coming weeks, allowing players to stay active and enjoy the sport year-round, regardless of weather conditions.
All outdoor rinks and skating trails will begin to open for the season, starting with Gore Meadows Covered Outdoor Skating Rink which opened this past Monday. Other outdoor rinks citywide will begin to open soon. Rinks may temporarily close due to weather or maintenance requirements, residents are encouraged to check rink hours and status updates at brampton.ca/outdoorskating prior to visiting.
Following a temporary closure to accommodate renovations to increase functionality, Brampton’s Gage Park has reopened. The park now features enhanced mechanical equipment and a new ice pad to ensure the skating trail is in optimal condition for future seasons.
