Winning ticket sold for $55 million Lotto Max jackpot in Ontario

Someone in Ontario is about to be fifty-five million dollars richer!

If you bought a Lotto Max ticket for yesterday’s draw, now would be a great time to check it.

A single winning ticket was drawn for Friday’s Lotto Max jackpot with the numbers: 05, 11, 29, 31, 38, 39 and 49. The bonus number was 41.

The multi-million dollar winning ticket, purchased in Milton, was among several prizes awarded in the June 14 draw.

Other notable wins include a second-place prize of $224,150 for a Scarborough ticket holder and a $1 million prize for a ticket sold in the Haliburton/Muskoka area.

In Simcoe County, an Encore ticket worth $100,000 was sold.

This is one of the largest winnings since April when a couple from Peterborough, Ontario, claimed a $70 million winning ticket purchased in a February draw.

Another big prize pool is up for grabs with the Lotto 649 Gold Ball Draw on Saturday night, offering $66 million.

If the Gold Ball jackpot is not won, it will roll over to a record high of $68 million, guaranteed to be won on Wednesday, June 19.
