Windows smashed at multiple businesses leads to search for suspect in Mississauga

Windows have been smashed in at multiple businesses leading police to ask for help identifying the suspect of some mischief in Mississauga.

The incidents have all happened at retail businesses in the Streetsville area of Mississauga between Sept. 20 and Dec. 1, Peel Regional Police say.

There have been at least 10 cases of rocks being thrown through the windows of business in the area of Queen Street South and Thomas Street.

Police say the incidents happened during the early morning hours between 3:30 a.m. and 7 a.m., primarily on weekends.

Surveillance cameras have recorded images of a suspect and investigators are asking anyone who might have information to contact police.

The suspect is described as an Asian man between 30 and 40 years old. He stands around 5’11” with a thin build and short black hair. He is clean shaven and wore glasses, a blue medical mask, a blue sweater or jacket, blue jeans and blue running shoes.
