Here are the best promotions happening across Ontario this Canada Day

If you’re feeling hungry, you might be able to score a free meal next week.

To celebrate its 45th anniversary, the Mandarin is launching a free buffet event for Canada Day.

Details indicated that patrons will only be served on a first-come-first-served basis, meaning potential diners can anticipate some lengthy waits. This free Canada Day buffet service is expected to run from noon to 8 p.m. at all Mandarin locations in Ontario.

However, Mandarin Restaurants is not the only player in Ontario trying to give back to the community for the upcoming long weekend.

Participating Circle K convenience stores have launched a promotion where, between June 28 and July 4, numerous snacks will be offered at significantly discounted prices in celebration of Canada Day. Apart from food and beverages, for those looking to engage in some activities before their respective BBQs and dinner parties, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is offering free admission for all attendees on July 1.

While this promotion lines up with the public holiday, it also aims to provide a standard throughout the season, as admissions will remain free for the whole summer after the fact.

Additional amenities on special for the holiday include several pre-boxed services throughout the GTA, as catering experts at Vintage Bash have collected a list of regional services that are providing take-out specials.

These include:

  • KACE Catering (North York)
  • Campo Restaurant (Toronto)
  • Dzo Viet Eatery (Toronto)
  • McEwan Fine Foods (North York)
  • Foxley Bistro (Toronto)
  • Light Café (Toronto)
  • Storm Crow Manor (Toronto)
  • Town Wings (Toronto)
  • Japango (Toronto)
  • Wolfie’s Deli (North York)

For those looking to get the most out of their long weekend, it looks like many diverse services in Ontario are stepping up to the task.
