Canada Day in Hamilton 2024: What’s Open and Closed
Published July 1, 2024 at 3:08 am
This year, Canada Day falls on Monday, July 1, 2024.
Hamilton is getting ready to party for Canada Day at Bayfront Park (200 Harbourfront Drive), with celebrations that include custom fireworks at 10 p.m. The event also includes numerous inflatables, a food truck rally and several stage shows. Admission is free.
For those looking to celebrate with a bang, the Hamilton Fire Department recently reminded residents that fireworks are ONLY permitted on Victoria Day and Canada Day, between dusk and 11 p.m. If inclement weather on those days prevents fireworks, they can be used the day following the holiday between dusk and 11 p.m.
