The small community of Brighton is on Lake Ontario not far from Belleville and east of Oshawa.

It’s home to home to Presqu’ile Provincial Park, which is known for bird watching. The municipality is in apple-growing country and is known for its annual Applefest.

With a population of just over 12,000, it is much smaller than Mississauga.
