Wallet thefts in Niagara prompt search for two suspects from Mississauga

Two Mississauga residents are wanted in connection with a spate of wallet thefts in the Niagara region.
Niagara Regional Police say officers have been investigating reported wallet thefts since earlier this month. According to police, two people have been going to grocery stores in the region and stealing wallets from elderly people while they’re shopping and then using the stolen credit cards.

Police say they are looking for Zbignew Papis, a 33-year-old Mississauga man, and Samantha Papis, a 28-year-old Mississauga woman.
Both are wanted in connection with a number of offences, including theft under $5,000, using credit cards within Canada and failing to comply with an undertaking.
