VIDEO: Wrong-way driver caught on Hwy. 407 in Pickering, Ontario

A frightening video captures a car travelling the wrong way on Highway 407 in Pickering.
The driver was travelling eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway near Brock Street on Nov. 15 just before 10 p.m., OPP said on X (formerly Twitter) on Nov. 23.
The police cruiser dashcam video shows a red car hurtling toward the cruiser on a, thankfully, nearly empty highway.
The driver then veers away from the police cruiser. The Toronto OPP cruiser then turns around and the driver of the red car stops a short distance away.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
The driver is charged with stunt driving, police said. He received a 30-day licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
