Sexual assault suspect remains unidentified and at large in Mississauga

A suspect of a violent sexual assault in a quiet Mississauga neighbourhood remains unidentified days later.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, was walking down the street near Brandon Gate Drive and Goreway Drive in Malton on Oct. 6. The area is a residential neighbourhood of detached homes nestled between Highways 407 and 427.
Around 9 p.m. a man approached her and sexually assaulted her, according to Peel Police. He then fled the area. The attack left the victim with minor injuries.
Investigators describe the suspect as a Black man in his mid-20s. He stands about five-foot-nine and has a medium build and curly hair. He was wearing a red and black hoodie, black pants and glasses.
Area security footage captured the suspect riding around the neighbourhood on a bicycle prior to the attack.
