VIDEO: Vehicle fire snarls traffic on Highway 403 in Mississauga

A vehicle went up in flames slowing traffic during the morning commute in Mississauga.
Emergency crews rushed to a fully engulfed vehicle fire in the westbound lanes of Highway 403, just west of Hurontario Street in Mississauga this morning (Jan. 11), the OPP said on X around 7:30 a.m.
There were no injuries, OPP said.
The right lanes were closed as Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services extinguished the blaze.
Update: OPP said a class G1 driver from Toronto faces G1 violation charges in connection to this incident.
The fire was extinguished and all lanes re-opened, OPP said on X shortly after 8:30 a.m.
