VIDEO: Suspect sought for two violent sex assaults in Brampton

Peel Regional Police are appealing to the public to identify a man they believe is connected to two violent sexual assaults that happened earlier this month in Brampton.
Investigators from the Special Victims Unit say they have obtained a video concerning the crimes that took place in the area of McLaughlin Road and Steeles Avenue.
The incidents occurred on Monday, September 2, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m. and Sunday, September 22, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m.
Peel police say the perpetrator is described as a South Asian man in his late 20s to early 30s. He is approximately 5-foot-9 with a medium build and dark short hair with a receding hairline.
Police ask anyone with information, more video surveillance, or dashcam footage who may have been in the area during the morning hours of September 2 and 22 to contact them at 905-453-2121, extension 3460.
