VIDEO: Street racing crash closes Highway 403 in Mississauga

A crash on Highway 403 in Mississauga has closed the eastbound lanes completely, causing significant traffic disruptions.
The collision happened in the eastbound lanes, near Erin Mills Parkway, at about 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Ontario Provincial Police reported the closure on Sunday evening, stating all lanes, including the High Occupancy Vehicle lane, are blocked due to the incident.
Drivers in the area are experiencing substantial delays, and authorities have not yet provided an estimated time for the highway to reopen. Police asked drivers to take alternate routes while emergency services work to manage the scene.
INsauga obtained the video footage below, which shows vehicles travelling at high speeds on the shoulder lanes of Highway 403 just moments before the collision.
The individual told INsauga he was travelling at a speed of 110 km/h when two vehicles sped past him on the shoulder.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.

Update: OPP told INsauga.com one person suffered minor injuries in the two-vehicle collision. Speed was a factor in the crash, police said.
An 18-year-old faces charges of fail to comply with demand (provide breath sample), police said.
