VIDEO: Street racing crash closes Hwy 403 in Mississauga

A serious accident on Highway 403 in Mississauga has closed the eastbound lanes completely, causing significant traffic disruptions.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported the closure around 7 p.m. on Sunday, stating that all lanes, including the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane, are blocked due to the incident.
Motorists in the area are experiencing substantial delays, and authorities have not yet provided an estimated time for the highway to reopen. Commuters are being advised to seek alternate routes while emergency services work to manage the scene.
INsauga obtained the video footage below, which shows vehicles travelling at high speeds on the shoulder lanes of Highway 403 just moments before the collisions occurred.
The individual informed INsauga that he was travelling at a speed of 110 km/h when two vehicles sped past him on the shoulder.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
