Nearly three years after the shooting death of university student Jackline Gore, police in Mississauga continue to ask anyone with any information at all to please come forward.
On Tuesday, the Peel Regional Police re-posted a video offering a $25,000 award to anyone who offers information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of Gore’s killer. On July 8, 2019, the 24-year-old Gore, a London, Ont., native who aspired to be a clinical psychologist, was killed when she was struck by a stray bullet outside of Fume Bar and Lounge in the Torbram and Drew Road area of Mississauga.
Gore was in the parking lot when, according to police, a suspect approached a group of men who were a short distance away. The suspect used a gun to shoot at one of the men whom police believe was the intended target, and Gore was struck instead.
“Someone out there knows something,” Peel police stated on Tuesday. “Help us find the person(s) responsible for the murder of Jackline Gore, and be eligible for a reward if your information leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.”
