VIDEO: New dinosaur-themed mini golf course opens in Brampton

Take a trip back in time and learn about the world of the dinosaurs with the new Jurassic Putt mini golf course in Brampton.

The 18-hole mini putt course opened last month in Chinguacousy Park with limited hours, open on weekends this month with more hours coming in July.

Jurassic Putt features animatronic dinos with each hole featuring educational facts about the long-extinct animals and is open to mini golfers of all ages.

“Dodge the swinging tail of a massive Brachiosaurus, navigate through the dense foliage of the Jurassic jungle, and carefully putt your ball past the menacing jaws of a T-Rex,” the Jurassic Putt website reads.

The new dinosaurs add to Chinguacousy Park’s other attractions like the Mini Moo petting zoo, splash pads, playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment.

“It’s just an amazing spot that you won’t find anywhere else in the GTA, and you know what, it’s in Ward 7 and I love it,” said Brampton City Coun. Rod Power

The new Jurassic Putt mini golf course is open on Fridays through Sundays in June from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and opens daily to visitors starting on July 1.
