Investigators are looking for the shooter who fired multiple rounds into a home following a shooting in an Ontario town caught on camera.

York Regional Police say shots rang out around 11 p.m. on Danny Wheeler Boulevard in Georgina, a town of around 50,000 people approximately 75 kilometres southeast of Barrie.

Police say they were called to the scene after someone reported hearing gunshots and officers found a bedroom window of the home had been shot out. Bullet holes were also found in an upstairs bedroom of the home.

Video of the shooting released by investigators shows a suspect standing in the middle of the street before taking aim at a home and firing over a dozen rounds.

The shooter then runs to a vehicle SUV nearby and enters the passenger seat before the vehicle flees the scene.

No one was injured in the incident despite bullets entering the home, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and officers are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact police.
