New video has surfaced of a break-in showing a car being used to crash through the door of a Brampton jewelry store.

The attempted smash-and-grab happened shortly before 4:15 a.m. when a white sedan crashed into the front of Koka Jewellers in Jaipur Gore Plaza, located at 8887 The Gore Rd.

Photos posted online showed the car crashed into the front of the store but video now shows the car appears to have crashed into the building multiple times, with the driver reversing before hitting the gas again.

That’s when several men can be seen running from across the street and one of the men appears to try and push his way through the wreckage and into the store.

The store was closed at the time of the crash and no one was injured, Koka Jewellers said.

A worker at the shop told Insauga.com that nothing was taken from the store as valuables were locked in a safe, and the suspects fled the area.

Peel Regional Police have confirmed they are investigating the break-in but no suspect details have been released.

Koka Jewellers said it would be temporarily closed due to the damage but planned to reopen as soon as possible.

The break-in was at least the third time a Brampton jewelry store has been targeted in recent weeks.

The White Carat Co. Diamonds at Bramalea City Centre was robbed twice within a month with one incident caught on camera by shoppers.

The most recent robbery happened on Dec. 8 and investigators said police were in the process of confirming whether the two smash-and-grabs are linked.
