People flocked to popular spots for fall colour viewing on the weekend but drivers faced fines in Caledon.
Temperatures hit highs of around 23 C on Sunday and with leaves turning brilliant colours, it was a great time to be outdoors.
With so many people out, OPP is reminding drivers to park in legal spots only.
“Illegal parking leads to traffic congestion and increased risk of collisions,” the OPP said in a post on X on Monday.
Several vehicles were towed and officers issued numerous parking tickets around the Cheltenham Badlands and Belfountain area on Sunday, police said.
These areas are two of the most popular spots for hiking, walks and seeing fall colours. There is limited parking available.
