Vehicle strikes man at Brampton intersection

Editor’s note: It was a 15-year-old girl who was the victim that was struck by a vehicle and later died in hospital.
A man is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle Friday night (July 12) at a Brampton intersection.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital after suffering serious injuries.
Peel Regional Police were called to the scene of the collision that occurred around at the intersection of McLaughlin Road and Horwood Drive around 8:09 p.m.
The intersection is currently shut down.
Police are asking commuters to avoid the area and use alternate routes while emergency crews clear up the intersection and the ongoing investigation is completed.
