Vehicle catches on fire after highway collision in Mississauga

A vehicle burst into flames after a collision on Highway 401 in Mississauga during rush hour traffic early Wednesday evening in Mississauga.
The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. on the Highway 401 Eastbound Expressway, west of Dixie Road, resulting in a single vehicle rolling over and catching fire.
“(The) driver has serious non-life-threatening injuries,” said Ontario Provincial Police.
Firefighters and emergency crews also arrived on the scene and quickly put out the vehicle fire.
Collision with lane closures:

Traffic on the eastbound Highway 401 was brought to a crawl after the two left lanes were closed while the collision scene was cleared up.
Both lanes were re-opened up just after 6 p.m.
