A baker from Brampton is counting his lucky stars after winning more than $50,000 in two Daily Keno draws.
Jerrey Addai is from Brampton and works at a bakery and has been playing Daily Keno for decades. Addai says he always picks random numbers, and the strategy paid off last month with two wins – one for $50,000, and another for $400.
“I went to check my ticket while picking up another one for the afternoon draw when I realized I won – I was so happy,” Addai said when picking up his winning ticket at the OLG prize centre in Toronto.
The Brampton resident still hasn’t decided how he and his family spend the money.
“My wife was the first person I called – she was very, very happy,” Addai said.
OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto, with prize winners between $1,000 and $49,999.90 encouraged to submit their claims online or mail them.
Submitting claims online is fast, secure and enables OLG to process the claim in a timely manner. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options.
The winning ticket was purchased at Convenience Access on Williams Parkway in Brampton.
