Two facing second-degree murder charge after man found dead in Fort Erie

Niagara police say two men are facing charges following a recent homicide in Fort Erie.

Around 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9, officers were called to a home in the area of Mathewson Ave and Dovercourt Rd.

“When officers arrived they located the body of an adult male without vital signs. He was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene,” said police.

Police said today (June 12) that they had identified and arrested two suspects.

29 year old Tristan Skelton and 29 year old Andrew Blais, both from Fort Erie, are charged with second-degree murder.

Both men were were held in custody pending a bail hearing today.

The investigation into the homicide is ongoing.
