Two-alarm house fire in Brampton temporarily closes roads

Drivers are advised to take alternate routes following a two-alarm fire at a residence in Brampton.
On (Oct. 21) at approximately 9:40 a.m., police say they responded to a house fire on Hollybush Street near Fernforst Drive.
According to police, emergency services including Brampton Fire and Peel Paramedics, also arrived on scene to assist with the blaze and provide any medical support.
Authorities have not mentioned if any occupants sustained injuries, as a result of the fire.
The circumstances surrounding the fire are not available at this time.

Images posted by the Brampton Fire Emergency Services on X (Formerly Twitter) shows the area blocked off by fire trucks while firefighters work towards controlling the blaze.
The photo also captures a team of police officers situated several feet away from the fire, with nearby residents scattered along both sides of the street, observing the situation.
