Truck hits pedestrian and drives off in Caledon, Ontario

The OPP is searching for a transport truck driver who was involved in a hit-and-run this morning in Caledon, which left a pedestrian with serious injuries.
Police responded to reports of a crash along Coleraine Drive around 3 a.m., where a pedestrian was struck by a white truck which left the scene before police arrival.
The pedestrian was then taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Additional information regarding the victim including their age and place of residence, has not been provided by police.
A description of the suspect vehicle or license plate number is currently unavailable.
Officials closed Coleraine Drive between Parr Boulevard and George Bolton Parkway for several hours for investigations.
As of 11 a.m., the roadways have reopened to motorists.
