Toys For Tots collecting donations and gifts for kids in Mississauga and Brampton

Peel Regional Police are helping make the season bright for kids in Mississauga and Brampton with the annual Toys For Tots campaign.
Now in its 29th year, the toy drive raises funds and collects new toys so underprivileged children in Peel can have a happy holiday.
Residents can donate funds online, or bring donations of new unwrapped toys or gift cards to designated drop off centres in Mississauga and Brampton.
Nearly 9,000 families were assisted by the campaign in 2019, and PRP said it’s counting on the people of Peel “to help with putting smiles on children’s faces this Christmas.”
“We are looking forward to a more eventful year and hoping to make a lot of families and children happy this Christmas,” said PRP Const. Jana Marchese. “Peel Region is filled with so many generous and caring people and that truly shows within Toys for Tots.”
You can drop off toys at any of the following locations:
- Peel Regional Police buildings.
- All Mississauga and Brampton Fire stations.
- All Canadian Tire stores.
- Shoppers World – 499 Main St S. in Brampton.
- Erin Mills Town Centre – 5100 Erin Mills Pkwy. in Mississauga.
- Bramalea City Centre – 25 Peel Centre Dr. in Brampton
- Toys R Us – 3150 Argentia Rd. in Mississauga.
- Toys R Us- 4559 Hurontario Street. in Mississauga.
- Toys R Us- 150 West Dr. in Brampton.
- Downey’s Farm – 13682 Heart Lake Rd.
The campaign started in 1993 when Peel Regional Police partnered up with Canadian Tire and Salvation Army to collect donations jugs to purchase new toys for underprivileged children within the community.
