Tow truck operator from Brampton charged with possessing stolen vehicles

A tow truck operator from Brampton and an accomplice have been charged with being in the possession of stolen vehicles.
OPP say just before midnight on Oct. 30, an officer patrolling the area of McLaughlin Road and Tim Manley Road in Caledon spotted a vehicle following a tow truck that was pulling another vehicle.
The officer pulled over the drivers and during the investigation found that the two vehicles had been stolen.
Two people have been arrested. Their names have not been released.
A Brampton man, 25, is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and several other offences relating to how the stolen vehicle was being towed.
Another man, a 21-year-old from Caledon, has also been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possessing an automobile master key, and altering/destroying/removing a vehicle identification number.
Both are scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville in December to answer the charges.
