Tow truck driver faces stunt driving charges in Brampton

A tow truck driver had their truck towed and faces stunt driving charges in Brampton.
A truck was clocked travelling 116 km/h in a 70 km/h zone in the Highway 50 and Queen Street area of Brampton on Monday, Peel Regional Police said in a post on X.
Police said the driver faces several charges including speeding, stunt driving, fail to complete daily inspection, and fail to comply with towing safety standards.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was seized for 14 days, police said.
