Top 5 most and least expensive homes sold in Brampton last month

The real estate market in Brampton and across the GTA is cooling, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some spectacular properties to be found when looking for a new place to call home.

With an average price of over $1,000,000, there were more than 800 new listings and 405 home sales in Brampton last month. Some of those sales were for massive, sprawling mansions worth millions of dollars, while some were more affordable one bedroom condos in the $400,000s.

Here are the top 5 most and least expensive homes sold in Brampton last month.

Most Expensive

46 Bellini Ave. – $3,600,000

Selling for $3,600,000, this grand estate off Goreway Dr. in northeast Brampton was the most expensive house sale in the city last month. It sits on two acres and backs onto a ravine. The home boasts over 9,000 square-feet of living space with five bedrooms, five bathrooms and an atrium on the second floor.

There are also plenty of fruit trees on the property including apples, pears, plums.

47 Longevity Rd. – $2,260,000

This family home in Brampton sold for $2,260,000 last month and features nearly 6,000 square-feet of luxury living. There are 10-foot ceilings on the main floor and nine-foot Ceilings in the basement and on the second floor. Each of the home’s five bedrooms has its own walk-in closet and ensuite.

4 Maple Syrup St. – $2,100,000

Another entry on the list with five bedrooms, this home out on Brampton’s north end has more than 3,800 square-feet of living space above ground and a seperate 1,460 square-foot finished legal basement suite with a private entrance. The master bedroom features its own fireplace, and there is ample parking space for seven vehicles. There’s also an electric car charger in the garage.

20 Adamsville Rd. – $1,925,000

This property in Brampton’s Estates Of Credit Ridge community was listed for $2,225,000 but sold for $1,925,000 last month. The house is on a corner lot and has 5,200 square-feet of living space including six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a finished basement with separate entrance, and over $200,000 worth of upgrades.

24 Maisonneuve Blvd – $1,775,000

This five bedroom home in Vales Of Castlemore has ample parking with a huge three car garage. The kitchen features solid granite countertops and upgraded appliances. The home sold last month for $1,775,000, and was previously sold back in 2017 for $1,180,000.

Least Expensive

1407, 3 Lisa St. – $545,000

This 1,000 to 1,199 square-foot, two bedroom, two bathroom suite is in a highrise off of Dixie Rd. It features a large open-concept living and dining area, as well as a walkout onto an oversized balcony. There are laminate floors throughout the unit, and large windows for lots of natural light.

211, 70 Baycliffe Cres. – $530,000

This one bedroom plus office, one bathroom condo features a galley kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. There is a stacked ensuite washer and dryer in the unit, a combined living room and dining room, and a balcony.

The condo sold for $530,000 last month, but previously sold for $333,000 just four years ago.

411, 215 Queen St. East

This 600 to 699 square-foot unit on Queen St. East has an open concept living room and kitchen, and laminate flooring throughout. The one bedroom unit has a multi-use den which could be used as an office or second bedroom.

1507, 100 John St. – $520,000

This open concept downtown Brampton unit sold below asking price at $520,000. The unit features nine-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, a newly renovated bathroom and state-of-the-art building amenities.

It’s also close to Gage Park, The Rose theatre, and the Brampton Farmers’ Market. The unit previously sold for $251,000 in 2015.

1906, 22 Hanover Rd – $490,000

This renovated one bedroom unit has great views of the Toronto skyline and was the least expensive residential property sold in Brampton last month. The ungraded kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a bar for additional seating.

The building has an indoor swimming pool with a whirlpool and sauna, a tennis court, squash and racquetball courts, and exercise room.
