10 cheapest 24-packs at The Beer Store

Even though the alcohol marketplace has massively expanded in Ontario in recent months to include convenience stores, big-box stores, as well as additional grocery stores, many consumers still like to head to The Beer Store.

INsauga.com has compiled a list of the 10 cheapest 24-packs at The Beer Store in case consumers want to save a few bucks.

Note that the prices listed below do not include tax or deposit.

Products on sale that may currently have lower prices but don’t regularly have been excluded. Non-alcoholic beers have also been excluded from the list.

10. Stonewall Light – $37.17

Stonewall Light is described on The Beer Store website as “an exceptionally refreshing light lager using only 100% natural ingredients with no preservatives or additives.”

Twenty-four 275 ml bottles sells for $37.17.

It has a four per cent alcohol by volume.

9. Multiple products – $36.99

Multiple products take the ninth spot for the cheapest 2-4s at The Beer Store, all priced at $36.99.

That includes 24 bottles (341 ml) of Rolling Rock, Labatt Ice, Lakeport Honey Lager, Lakeport Pilsener, and Lakeport Light.

For $36.99, you can also get 24 “Coronitas” — mini, 207 ml Corona bottles.

8. Laker Lager & Laker Ice – $36.80

Twenty-four packs of 355 ml cans of Laker Lager and Laker Ice each go for $36.80.

The Beer Store website says the Lager is “brewed with 100 per cent Canadian two-row malted barley, a unique blend of premium hops and crystal clear water.”

Laker Ice is “an ice-brewed beer which has a clean, fresh, sharp taste from the filtering process, creating a smooth drinkable brew with an appealing aroma and high alcohol strength.”

The lager has five per cent alcohol by volume, while Laker Ice has 5.5 per cent.

7. Multiple products – $36.79

Multiple 24-pack products are priced for $36.79, taking the seventh spot on our list.

You can get 24 bottles (355 ml) of Miller High Life.

You could also get 341 ml bottles of Molson Dry, Keystone Light, Carling Light, Black Label, Black Ice, or Old Vienna.

6. Multiple products – $35.50

Five products take the sixth spot on the list, each priced at $35.50.

They include 341 ml bottles of Laker Red, Laker Light, Laker Lager and Laker Ice.

Also, 24 341 ml bottles of Maclays go for $35.50.

5. Yup! Light Lager – $33.26

Yup! Light Lager takes spot number five, with 24 cans (355 ml) going for $33.26 (currently on sale for $33.00).

The Canadian craft beer has a four per cent alcohol by volume.

“Our crushable light lager won gold at the Canadian Brewing Awards for its delicious, refreshing and crisp flavour,” The Beer Store description says.

“Just 100 calories per can and only 4g of carbohydrates.”

4. Sneaky Weasel Lager – $32.35

For $32.35, you can get 24 cans (355 ml) of Sneaky Weasel Lager.

“This mildly hopped craft lager delivers a bold 5.6 percent alcohol vol, but goes down crisp and clean,” The Beer Store site says.

3. Busch Bullet – $24.69

Twenty-four 222 ml cans of Bush Bullet is priced at $24.69.

The strong beer takes the third spot on the list.

“Busch Bullet delivers a crisp, smooth finish with seven per cent ABV and packaged in a small, sleek 222 ml can,” The Beer Store description says.

2. Cerveza Revolucion – $24.42

Cerveza Revolucion is the second-cheapest on our list at $24.42 for 24 cans (355 ml).

It’s a “Latin-inspired cerveza made with malted barley and a generous blend of malted corn,” The Beer Store website says.

“Lightly hopped and then fermented with a sophisticated cerveza-style yeast,” it continues.

It has a 4.5 per cent alcohol by volume.

However, at the time of writing, The Beer Store indicates that it is not in stock at any location.

1. Molson Cold Shots – $24.00

And coming in at number one are Molson Cold Shots.

For $24, you can get 24 cans (222 ml), which works out to $1 per can.

“Same great Molson Canadian taste, but with six per cent alcohol in a 222ml slim can,” The Beer Store description says.

“Cold Shots offer a compact, more intense experience and prove that great things come in small packages.”
