They have been trying it at other locations across Canada, now it’s Burlington’s turn.
In an ongoing effort to offer a wide variety of menu items, Tim Hortons will be rolling out its pizza product at select Burlington locations starting next month.
The pizza program, launched in 2022, has only been available in a few markets since then as Tim Hortons has been gauging customer reaction.
Mississauga, Ottawa and Calgary have been the test markets so far but come April customers in Burlington will be able to give it a try.
A Tim Hortons representative told halton.insauga.com that it will be available in a limited number of stores with indications that Harvester Road and Burloak Drive will be two of the locations.
The spokesperson said customers have been asking about pizza ever since it was announced the popular fast-food chain would be entering the market.
“It will be presented on a trial basis and we’ll see where it goes after that,” that representative said.
Served in a flatbread style, the pizza comes in a few different toppings; pepperoni, cheese, chicken parmesan and sausage and jalapeno.
The price will range from $7 to $9.
Tim Hortons has been examining the feedback at the trial locations with the hope of launching it nationwide as early as this year.
Customer reaction has generally been positive with social media users indicating they have given it a try when they had the chance.
“Not available everywhere so I thought I would give it a go,” said a Mississauga Reddit user. “It’s not too bad, I would have it again.”
