A Tim Hortons location inside a major Mississauga grocery store has permanently closed.
As of last week, the beloved coffee joint inside the Metro, located at 6677 Meadowvale Town Centre Cir. has closed to the public.
A representative from Metro told insauga.com that the Tim Hortons location officially closed on Monday, Oct. 31.
Following the closure, several locals who frequented the Tim Hortons location began a discussion in a community Facebook group to express their shock over its sudden disappearance.
Several of the same Facebook users even speculated the reason behind its closure noting that the location was always busy.
In the Facebook thread about the closure, one user wrote, “So sad. I liked stopping by that Tim Hortons.”
“I’ll miss that Tim Hortons,” wrote another user.
The same representative from Metro told insauga.com that while there won’t be another coffee or fast food joint replacing it, the existing wine shop will be expanding into the now-empty space.
