Some Tim Hortons customers in Mississauga, Brampton, Oshawa, Halton and other parts of the GTA can now order a coffee and pizza to go–if that’s their thing–as the iconic fast-food chain is selling the savoury Italian dish on a trial basis at select stores.
The popular Canadian coffee and doughnut shop is reportedly offering a selection of flatbread pizzas at 20 stores across the GTA for a limited time.
It’s part of an effort by the company to further expand its market into the lunch and dinner offerings.
The flatbread pizzas are being offered for a limited time and come in varieties that include pepperoni, cheese, chicken parmesan and sausage and jalapeno.
The items cost $6.99 to $7.99.
Tim Hortons will be closely monitoring feedback from the public before deciding if it will make the pizzas a permanent menu item.
Exact locations where the pizzas are available weren’t disclosed.
