Thunderstorms and heavy rain possible for southern Ontario today

With cooler fall-like temperatures and cloudy skies settling in, there is a chance of thunderstorms and heavy rain today and into tomorrow across southern Ontario.
Today’s 15 C temperatures and cloudy conditions could bring isolated lightning strikes and showers in parts of Ontario. However, Environment Canada has not provided specific locations and the expected rainfall amounts remain uncertain.

By Sunday morning, meteorologists anticipate some patchy frost as temperatures dip near freezing. Residents are advised to cover vulnerable plants, particularly in frost-prone areas.
