Police are searching for three suspects after opening fire on nearly a dozen vehicles at a Caledon business earlier this month.
The shooting happened on Dec. 6 around 11 p.m. when the OPP says three men came to a business on Highway 9 near Kennedy Road. Police have not identified the business but there are multiple car dealerships in the area.
Investigators say the trio entered a parking lot and shot at 11 parked vehicles before taking off in a dark grey sedan.
The OPP say the incident is being considered a mischief investigation and have released images of the suspects and the vehicle, asking the public’s help identifying the men.
Police say all three suspects are men of unknown age and race.
The first shooter is described as wearing a color-block sweater with a white upper and dark blue lower, blue jeans, and a dark toque. The second suspect was wearing a black hoodie or jacket with grey pants, while the third had a black hoodie or jacket with a large diamond-shaped design on the back and black pants.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with who may have information or dashcam footage of the area form the time of the shooting is asked to contact the Caledon OPP by calling 905-584-2241 or toll-free at 1-888-310-1122.
