Three from Brampton charged in drug trafficking operation

Three people from Brampton are among six charged following a multi-jurisdictional police operation into drug trafficking.
The investigation included officers from the OPP as well as York and Peel Regional Police.
According to police, the operation led to search warrants at residences across the GTA including Brampton were items seized included cocaine worth $150,000, handguns, ammunition, tasers, scales, packaging material and money counting machines.
The three from Brampton arrested are:
Winston Walters, 47, charged with participating in a criminal organization, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking in cocaine, two counts of careless storage of a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, four counts of possession of a prohibited device, possession of ammunition, two counts of possession of a prohibited firearm and two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm.
He was held for a bail hearing and will appear in court at a later date.
Kedecea Hibbery-Walters, 36, is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Saneek Moody, 31, is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm/ammunition and possession of a firearm, prohibited or restricted weapon obtained by crime.
They have a court date scheduled for March 29.
