Stolen car in Clarington results in charges for Brampton man, two others

Three people face multiple charges after police found a stolen car in Clarington.
Durham Regional Police investigators with Project Attire, an ongoing effort to tackle vehicle theft, raided a home near Taunton Road and Trulls Road, just east of Oshawa.
With the help of Halton Regional Police, investigators discovered a stolen BMW SUV as well as several programmable devices used to steal cars. They arrested three people at the home including:
- Brooke Noftall, 25 of Toronto,
- theft of a motor vehicle,
- possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and
- possession of break-in instruments.
- Steven Chambers, 26 of Clarington
- theft of a motor vehicle,
- possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000,
- possession of break-in instruments, and
- breach of probation.
- Clinton Hahn, 41 from Brampton
- theft of a motor vehicle,
- possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- possession of a Schedule I substance.
Noftall was released with conditions while Chambers and Hahn were held for a bail hearing.
