Three arrested following breakup of alleged chop shop in rural Milton

A suspected chop shop on a rural property south of Milton has been broken up by Halton police.
Three suspects are facing multiple charges after a dozen allegedly stolen vehicles were recovered in various stages of being disassembled.
Halton police Organized Crime Investigators executed a search warrant on July 11 after identifying a recently stolen vehicle from Peel.
Haider Ameer Khan, 25, of Brampton, Shehroz Nadeem, 26, of Mississauga, and Jaskaran Singh, 24, of Grimsby, are each charged with 12 counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 – trafficking.
All three men have since been released on bail with an upcoming court date scheduled for Aug. 26 in Milton.
