Third pharmacy robbed in Brampton this month

Armed robbers have knocked over a third pharmacy in Brampton in as many weeks.

Peel Regional Police reported the latest robbery shortly after 6 p.m. on September 20. They said multiple suspects, though they did not specify how many, had entered a business on Hwy 50 & Fogal Rd. The intersection is home to a shopping plaza, a daycare and medical services.

An unspecified weapon was seen during the robbery. The suspects took an unknown amount of cash and narcotic drugs before fleeing the scene. Police did not provide a description of the suspects. No one was harmed in the incident.

This is at least the third pharmacy robbery in Brampton this September.

Back on September 15, two men stole into a pharmacy on Mayfield Rd and Creditview Rd around 4 p.m.They held up the pharmacy armed with knives before fleeing the scene in a dark vehicle. No one was harmed in this incident either.

Police described the suspects in this robbery as a pair of Black men wearing masks. One of the suspects was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and the other had short braided hair.

Next on September 19, two men entered a pharmacy on Howden Blvd and Vodden St this time armed with a pistol. Police did not provide suspect descriptions this time eiter.
