Another Brampton elementary school has had a COVID-19 outbreak declared.

Edenbrook Hill Public School, located on Edenbrook Hill Dr., between Bovaird Dr. W. and Sandalwood Pkwy. W., joins Harold F. Loughin Public School and Our Lady of Providence Catholic Elementary School, with on-going COVID-19 outbreaks.

As of the end of day yesterday (Wednesday, Sept. 29) Edenbrook Hill had two ongoing COVID-19 cases and two classrooms are closed.

What elevates the school to the level of an outbreak is a reasonable belief that the cases were passed on at the school.

Harold F. Loughin is currently reporting five cases and has three classrooms closed.

The Peel District School Board does not differentiate between student and staff cases in its reporting.

Our Lady of Providence, in the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, reported zero cases of COVID-19 and no classrooms closed as of yesterday. They will likely be removed from Peel Public Health’s outbreak dashboard shortly.
