August 30

Paralympic Games 2024 Screenings

Head to Celebration Square to cheer on Team Canada during the Paralympic Games. Enjoy free public viewings in the city’s largest outdoor theatre. Remember to dress for the weather, and note that schedules may change, and not all games will be shown.

RED FM Summer Bhangra Jam

Get ready for a vibrant celebration of Punjabi culture at Celebration Square. This one-day festival promises an unforgettable experience with a free concert featuring international Punjabi superstars like Malkit Singh, known for hits such as “Gur Nalo Ishq Mitha” and “Kali Ainak,” and Ninja, whose soulful performances captivate audiences worldwide. There will also be Bhangra performances, fashion shows, a kids zone, a relaxing seniors lounge and many food vendors serving Indian street food. Admission and parking is free!

Bring your friends and family for one of the last concerts in Mississauga this summer and experience the musical magic with Simplé, a four-piece group performing at Four Corners in Cooksville. Little Peter and the Elegants Live at Port Credit Memorial Park

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Little Peter and the Elegants, an 8-piece band based in Port Credit, at their special concert. Originally formed by students from Port Credit Secondary School, the band first performed in December 1973 and quickly became known for their nostalgic hits from the 50s, 60s, and early 70s. With a line-up that features three vocalists and musicians on keyboard, guitar, bass, sax and drums, the band delivers a rich blend of vocal harmonies. Covering classic artists like The Platters, Elvis Presley, and The Beach Boys, their music is enjoyed by all generations, making them a true “generation bridge.”
