The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives to host a wide variety of activities this July in Brampton

The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) is injecting a touch of cultural exhilaration alongside regional summer activities by hosting a series of interactive classes and installations throughout July.

According to a recent release, PAMA is launching a variety of exhibitions, workshops and other activities for families throughout the Peel Region, alongside guided tours throughout the facility during select days of the month.

As indicated by PAMA, these summer activities feature immersive studio sessions, where guests can explore exhibitions at their leisure and engage in self-guided art projects that relate to the theme of the chosen installation collection.

This month’s featured exhibition is Oh My Dog!, an installation series celebrating dogs in the hearts of both artists and the public alike. Additional activities surrounding “Oh My Dog!” include an interactive yoga class that will educate attendees on the cultural importance of the downward and upward-facing dog yoga poses.

This July also includes the Stories of Home Workshop at PAMA, where artist Ritika Kochhar will guide guests through India’s vibrant practice of  Madhubani painting.

To wrap things up — near the end of the month — PAMA will also be putting on a Books and Comic Workshop in partnership with the Brampton Library.
