Teen reports sexual assault in a Brampton park, police seek tips

Police seek the public’s assistance after a 14-year-old girl reported a sexual assault in a Brampton park.

The teen was walking through Chinguacousy Park on Saturday, Sept. 9 when she alleges a man followed her and then sexually assaulted her, Peel Regional Police said in a press release.

Investigators from the Special Victims Unit seek the public’s assistance in identifying the man.

The suspect is described as a Black male, five-foot-five-inches tall to five-foot-nine inches tall, with a medium build and thin goatee.

He was wearing a white hoodie, white shorts, black flip-flops with grey socks, and he had a large ring on one of his fingers.
