Teen falls into sewer in Mississauga

Mississauga Fire Crews have responded after a receiving reports early Tuesday evening (July 30) of what is believed to be a teenager in a sewer system.
Emergency crews received a call shortly after 6 p.m. of a teenager in a “confined space” near Eglinton Avenue and Spectrum Way.
“Reports are not yet substantiated,” said Mississauga Fire on its social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Both confined space and water rescue teams from Mississauga are on the scene.
The scene is currently active, and people are asked to avoid the area.
