Teen charged for driving nearly 60 km over speed limit in Brampton: police

A 19-year-old driver was charged after going nearly 60 kilometres over the speed limit in Brampton, Peel Regional Police said today (Nov. 1).
Police said on the X social media platform that the driver was travelling 127 kilometres per hour in a 70 km/hr zone southbound on The Gore Road at Grafton Crescent.
The person was charged with speeding, stunt driving and careless driving. The driver’s vehicle was impounded for 14 days and the licence was suspended for 30 days.
Police didn’t provide more details about the incident.
