Teen, 14, from Mississauga charged in Brampton home invasion

Police have charged a 14-year-old and two men from Mississauga after a home invasion robbery in Brampton last year.
The break-in happened in the early morning hours of Nov. 28 when Peel Regional Police say four suspects entered a home near McLaughlin Road and Queen Street in Brampton.
Police say the suspects wearing disguises forced their way into the home and demanded property and money from the victims inside.
None of the occupants suffered any physical injuries in the break-in, and police have not disclosed what may have been stolen from the home.
Now police say three people from Mississauga have been arrested and charged in connection with the home invasion, including a youth.
Peel Regional Police say a 14-year-old from Mississauga has been charged with robbery, disguise with intent, possession of property obtained by crime. The name of the teen is not being released due to a provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Nanayaw Kwarten, 21, and Mark Obohat, 19, both of Mississauga have been charged with multiple offences including robbery and disguise with intent. Police say Kwarten also faces six counts of failure to comply with a release order, and was bound by a probation order with strict conditions.
The accused all appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for bail hearings on Feb. 23.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and investigators expect more charges could be laid.
