Nearly everyone is caught up in Taylor Swift mania — even Canada’s national weather forecaster.
Environment and Climate Change Canada put out a special “Tayronto” forecast Friday, complete with a glittery background.
Swifties may be needed to brighten up a gloomy Friday. Highs of 10 C and cloudy skies were forecast.
But the dull weather didn’t stop Environment Canada from having a bit of fun.
“Night 2 of #TSTheErasTour in #Tayronto and it will be into the mist, into the clouds. But we know you’ll be the ones waiting there even when it’s cold,” the forecaster wrote on X.
They broke down the expected temperatures for the evening. When the gates open at 4:30 p.m. it will be 9 C and then it drops to 8 C and finally 6 C when concert-goers head out around midnight.
If you have been under a rock this week, Taylor Swift is in Toronto for six performances over 10 days at the Rogers Centre. The opening show was Thursday followed by Friday and Saturday, and Nov. 21, 22 and 23.
The weather is expected to be sunnier on the weekend.
