Take in live music, food and culture for free Latin Fest this weekend in Brampton

September is Latino Heritage Month and the city is celebrating in style with the return of Brampton Latin Festival.
Now in its third year, the Brampton Latin Festival is a chance for residents of all backgrounds to experience Latin food, flavours, music and culture.
This year’s festival will run in Ken Whillans Square and will feature live performances, DJs, food trucks and vendors, and a family-friendly kid’s activity zone.
Hosted by the Brampton Latinos Association, the festival showcases the diversity of Latin American traditions and creates an experience for everyone in the community.
“By encouraging cultural exchange, we aim to build connections, foster understanding, and add to the kaleidoscope that makes Brampton special…We want a festival where everyone – locals and visitors – can enjoy great music, delicious food, and the warmth of Latin American / Latino traditions,” organizers say.
The 2024 Brampton Latin Festival runs from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday at Ken Whillans Square in Brampton. For more information visit www.bramptonlatinosassociation.com.
