Swoop Airlines has announced that beginning in December it will fly passengers from Mississauga’s Pearson Airport to Kingston, Jamaica twice a week.
The announcement made yesterday by the Calgary-based, ultra-low-cost carrier means it now has two Caribbean destinations on its schedule, the other being Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Passengers taking the flights will fly aboard a Boeing 737-800, which carries 162-189 passengers, depending on cabin layout.
Swoop, which took flight in 2018 and is owned by WestJet, also flies to eight Canadian destinations, three in Mexico and five U.S. locations.
