There is growing concern for the well-being of an unknown person after security images show them being restrained near two vehicles that later fled the scene in Mississauga on Saturday night.

Shortly after 9:45 p.m., Peel Regional Police officers responded to reports of a “suspicious incident” near Traders Boulevard East and Hurontario Street.

Police say security images that captured the incident show an individual who appears to be restrained alongside a dark-coloured sedan and an orange SUV.

After some time, both vehicles reportedly left the area in unknown directions.

Investigators are particularly concerned for the well-being of the individual shown in the images and are seeking to identify those involved.

If this incident is a prank, police urge those responsible to come forward and clarify the situation.
